1- Kathy and Sarah-Star
made Cosco run
2- then we 3 went
and accidently discovered
THE dress
at Lily Rose
sparkly
empire waist
grabbed on a whim
by Sarah-Star
unlike the vision
she had of sophisticated
and greek goddess
the one she chose
looks vintage
and sweet
all sparly in a subtle
sorta way
the dress makes one cry
3- ate chinese lunch
with the girls

1- we ate breakfast @ Toast
Steve, Sarah-Star and I
2- Kathy, Sarah-Star and I went
shopping for a wedding dress
3- we got with Steve and Al
to go eat hamburgers
@ Red Robin
4- and go shopping @ a mall
where we found a children's
book about Little Hoot
we bought Al 2 owls today
a colored Christmas ornament
one and a snowy white one
for both Al and Steve
5- Steve and I bought
a bright yellow timer
6- and sweet smellum for Steve
and 2 sweet smellums for me
tea rose and one with a fairy
7- i searched the web
for mother of the bride dress

awaking
2- went out to see movie

with Al, his mom, Sarah-Star and Steve
3- ate yummy, delicious sushi
afterwards
4- watched 2 more episodes of
The Colony
5- read some more of the
Sunday New York Times
6- some more in KNIT TWO
7- and started Kathleen McGowans'

Gratitude And Ponderings
1- mackeral sky
from the deck
in sarah-star and al's backyard
2- i love to hear the sound
of my duaghter's voice
as she talks @ the breakfast table
with steve and al
3- i don't even hafta hear
her words
just the tone of her voice
its lilts and harmony
make me feel connected
to bone of my bone
4- the blood that courses
thru her veins
came partly from mine
5- i did not imagine
how huge and wandering
enormous big and diversified
The North Carolina Renaissance
Festival would possibly be
the paths went on and on
meandering through visual
delights aromatic sensations
a day full to the brim and
overflowing with a wide variety
of textures to feel
6- the sensation of watching
a giant pendulum
bigger than all of us
swaying back and forth, hypnotizing us
transporting us
back in time
7- the costumes
what joy and delight
there is to step out of the box
to create a look
a style
a fashion
that let's you dance, prance
/stomp, tromp
/trapse around
in a different frame
of mind
pretending to be
a different character
in a different time and place
sometimes the pictures
we frame in our mind
are old timey
and remind us
there are threads of truth
that we are weaving with now
that connect us
with silver, golden or patchwork

Nora Roberts' VISION IN WHITE
2- on the road again
it is so pleasurable
to ride along with steve
by my side
companions
traipsing out into the world
for yet another Grand Adventure
3- ham and cheese croissants
in Bay Minette
4- ice cream @ Priester's Pecans
5- tho most of the trees are bare
prepared for their winter nap
a few of them
are ablaze with the brilliant
oranges, reds and yellows
doing thier sassy fall dance
before falling into slumber

1- home for just one day
but ah! it feels good to the bones
